Therapy Orientation and Skills Transfer Training Children with Multiple Disability and Visual Impairment

Therapy Orientation and Skills Transfer Training Children with Multiple Disability and Visual Impairment require a variety of interventions that would suit their needs. Occupational, Physical and speech therapy services are three of the major needs identified by the parents. However, these services have increasingly been more difficult to access because of lack of therapists in the localities and/or of the high costs it entails. Most Parents, although wanting to be effective in care and management of their children, lack the skills and knowledge necessary to undertake this. thus, we bring the therapists to the provinces to address te therapy needs of children with visual impairment and multiple disabilities by equipping parents to help their children with visual impairment and multiple disabilities by equipping parents to help their children cope up with their daily activities and prepare them before they enter.
